Sheffield City Council’s Housing Repairs Service carries out repairs and maintenance to over 50,000 Council homes.
This year, we are offering an amazing 16 Apprenticeship opportunities to launch your career in the Trades services with a September 2025 start.
The 16 Apprenticeship opportunities are available across six different Trades: Gas Fitters; Plumbers; Joiners; Plasterers; Painters and Bricklayers.
As an Apprentice, you will:

Qualifications:
For Gas Fitters we are looking for (or working towards) a Grade 5 / Strong Pass (in English and Maths)
For all Plumbers / Plasterers / Joiners / Bricklayers / Painters we are looking for (or working towards) a Grade 4 / Standard Pass (in English and Maths).
Interviews will take place in June and July.
