We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Public Art Officer to join our Development Management section, within the Design, Conservation and Trees team of Planning Services as the Council’s Design expert. You should ideally have minimum five years post degree experience, have excellent communication, team working and organisational skills.
You will provide specialist advice to the Development Management team on all aspects of integrating Public Art proposals within new developments. In this role you will be a lead liaison with external bodies and elected members.
You will hold a relevant qualification and have knowledge and competence of the Adobe suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and CAD software.

You will work within the framework of, and promote, Sheffield City Councils corporate vision.
If you would like an informal conversation about the roles please get in touch with Harshada Deshpande, Technical Manager: harshada.deshpande@sheffield.gov.uk
